Great Nomad Expeditions Booking & Refund Policy

Terms & Conditions
To ensure the safety, enjoyment, and success of our expeditions, all applicants must answer any questions asked by Great Nomad Expeditions, Big Blue Flower LLC, or our representatives before being accepted onto a trip.
To confirm your place on an expedition, a 25% non-refundable deposit is required.
The full balance must be paid no later than 30 days prior to departure. Without full payment, your booking will not be confirmed and you will not be permitted to participate.
We reserve the right to deny or remove participants from an expedition if we believe they pose a risk to themselves or others—physically, mentally, or emotionally—at any point before or during the trip.
Cancellations by You
Should you cancel your expedition, the following terms apply:
31 days or more before departure: Your deposit will be retained as credit towards a future expedition with us.
15–30 days before departure: A 50% cancellation fee applies. This amount may be held as credit for a future trip.
14 days or fewer before departure: A 100% cancellation fee applies; no refund will be issued though where applicable Great Nomad Expeditions will try to offer credit towards another expedition.
All cancellations must be submitted in writing. We highly recommend securing travel and cancellation insuranceat the time of booking to cover any unforeseen circumstances. No refunds will be given for unused services, early departure, late arrival, or no-shows.
Any cancellation fees above are in addition to fees imposed by accommodation providers, travel agents, or third-party service providers.

Cancellations by Us
All trips are guaranteed to depart, unless a minimum group size is explicitly stated. If we cancel your trip for reasons not related to a Force Majeure event, we will offer a full refund or the option to transfer funds to another expedition.

Force Majeure Events
In the case of cancellation due to a Force Majeure Event (e.g. natural disaster, war, pandemic, government restrictions), the following options may be offered at the organisers’ discretion:
Before the trip:
100% credit toward a future expedition, or
A partial refund minus any unrecoverable costs.
After the trip has commenced:
Refunds or credit will be issued on a case by case situation.
A refund for unused days minus unrecoverable costs.
No compensation will be offered for associated costs such as flights, insurance, or visas lost due to cancellation from a Force Majeure event.

Credit Terms
Credit issued by Great Nomad Expeditions:
Does not expire unless otherwise stated
Can be used towards any available expedition
Is not redeemable for cash or transferrable to another person
Cannot be used for flights or insurance
